Construction is rapidly advancing at the duplex sites on 'S' and North 30th Streets, with completion expected by month's end. The four innovative homes and their respective owners will become the first members of the NeighborWorks Lincoln Community Land Trust (CLT)! The CLT is a tool that will help us better address the City's housing shortage by creating permanently affordable ownership opportunities across the City. Land trust homeowners enjoy all of the same benefits (and burdens!) of owning while building equity in the appreciating asset. In exchange, the owners agree to sell the home to someone in the same economic situation they were in.
