Have you ever wanted to know what it takes to get a mural or creative project to happen in your community? Do you have ideas for projects or public art? If so, this training is for you!

LUX and NeighborWorks Lincoln have partnered to offer the 2023 Creative Placemaking Training for free thanks to generous funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.

In this training we will cover what creative placemaking is, how it can serve the community, and how you can make your own projects happen.

You don’t need to be an artist to attend this training – it’s for everyone! Public art is only one the many varieties of creative placemaking we will discuss in this workshop.

Creatives who complete this workshop are eligible to apply to be the 2023 Creative in Community resident. The CIC resident will receive a $3000 stipend to create their placemaking project + supply costs will be covered. Visit LUXcenter.org/placemaking for details on the
