This portable trailer is filled with everything you need for your group's next great party; tables, chairs, coolers, yard games, and more!
Trailer Details
- The Trailer season is April through mid-October and is booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Not-for-profit entities (including schools and faith-based organizations) have priority use of the Trailer and will be charged a $300 non-refundable fee. Groups are also responsible for any damages.
- For-profit entities will be charged a $500 non-refundable fee, and will be responsible for any damages.
- The group booking the Trailer is responsible for obtaining all necessary reservations, permits, permissions, and insurance for the event.
- Unless otherwise arranged, standard Trailer delivery and pick-up times are 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., respectively.
Planning Details
Groups booking the Block Party Neighborhood Trailer are responsible for obtaining all necessary reservations, permits, permissions, and insurance requirements for their event. These can take time to process, so plan ahead!
- Private Party: Event will be on private property. No permits should be needed.
- Street Closure: Event will impact public right-of-way (from sidewalk to sidewalk). You will need a Block Party Permit from the City of Lincoln.
- Public Park: Event will impact a public park. You will need to make a reservation (and possibly apply for a permit) with Lincoln Parks and Recreation.
Events with vendors, large attendance, live performances, or exceeding the normal capacity of a park may be required to get additional permits and/or permissions. Groups should contact the City of Lincoln for confirmation.
