Northeast Radial Bike Tour
Sunday, May 31
9 a.m. - 12 noon
UPCO Park | North 40th + Adams
Join NeighborWorks Lincoln as we remember the journey toward neighborhood reinvestment, catalyzed by the once-proposed Northeast Radial Freeway! On Sunday, May 31, at 9 a.m., we'll ride the trails from UPCO Park to the Jayne Snyder Trails Center. Retracing the steps of Lincoln's post-war community builders, organizers, and neighborhood advocates, we'll retell the story of how neighbors came together to save the neighborhood, ultimately leading to the creation of NeighborWorks Lincoln in 1986 - 40 years ago this year!
The tour will conclude at Hub Cafe around 10:30 a.m. followed by a bike show until 12 noon.
