NeighborWorks Week is a time to highlight how, together with residents, the NeighborWorks network strengthens communities. Held during the first full week of June, NeighborWorks Week celebrates the collective impact of the network mobilizing volunteers, business partners, and civic leaders who share in our mission to create opportunities for people to live in affordable homes, build financial stability, and strengthen communities.

Northeast Radial Bike Tour

6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Discover the story behind Lincoln's Northeast Radial Highway, a proposed project that was ultimately shut down. This fascinating bike tour through the Malone/Hawley, Clinton, and University Place neighborhoods will take us pedaling through history to explore the impact of this ambitious plan on the Lincoln community. This is a unique opportunity to learn about local history while enjoying a scenic ride. Additional details coming soon!
Malone | Hawley Neighborhood Clean-Up
Saturday, June 14
9 a.m. - 12 noon
Residents of the Malone and Hawley neighborhoods are invited to help clean up the area bounded by 27th Street, Vine Street, O Street, and Antelope Valley Parkway. Let's come together to keep the neighborhoods clean and beautiful!
Meet in the parking lot at Sower Church at 2640 R Street. Items accepted include large debris, electronics, metal, appliances, and tires. Click here to view the full list.
Outdoor Movie Night

8 p.m. - 10:45 p.m.
Grab your lawn chairs and blankets and join us in the yard at NeighborWorks Lincoln for a screening of The Lego Movie! It's free to attend with free parking and free popcorn! Yard games will be set up at 8 p.m. for some pre-movie fun. Plan on a late night for the kiddos; the movie starts at sunset (9 p.m.) and runs 101 minutes.
