NeighborWorks Lincoln builds a variety of new homes each year, both subsidized (affordable) and market rate. Many of these homes are placed into the Prairie Roots Community Land Trust to ensure their resale to additional low- and middle-income buyers for years, and generations, to come. 

New homes are offered first to eligible clients who are next up on our First-Ready, First-Served Waitlist. 

Requirements to Purchase a CLT Home

• All adults in the household have completed the First Time Homebuyers Education course
• Household income is at or below 80% Area Median Income (AMI), which is determined at during your 1:1 pre-purchase housing counseling session.
• You have a preapproval from one of our lending partners for the purchase price of the CLT property listed for sale.
