We Are Committed To You

NeighborWorks Lincoln was founded to combat economic inequities in our neighborhoods and build healthy communities. We strive to embrace diversity and we lean on our core value of inclusion.

We recognize the painful injustice of the recent murder of George Floyd and the ongoing inequity towards our Black friends and neighbors. We stand with our neighbors and recognize that Black Lives Matter. Our community is hurting – and we hurt alongside of it, with you. Together, we commit to dismantling historically and systematically ingrained racial oppression and the institutions that perpetuate these inequities.

NeighborWorks Lincoln reaffirms our commitment to healthy neighborhoods and communities, and supporting first time homeownership. We are also committed to working with our community partners to address racial injustice in our city, state and country’s institutions.

ANNOUNCEMENT

NeighborWorks Lincoln is doing our part to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. In light of this, staff are working diligently from home. The NeighborWorks Lincoln office is now by appointment-only. In order to minimize face-to-face contact, please use phone, email, or mail when available instead of coming in person to the office. There is also a mail slot next to the front door if you have more urgent paperwork that you would like to drop off. By calling first, staff can triage individuals who can be helped remotely versus in-person, thus reducing community spread of COVID-19.
