The Science of Sound

At 7:30 pm on April 16, 2014, Dawes Middle School Community Learning Center (CLC) students who participated in the Science of Sound Camp (pictured below) will be performing 3 songs at the Lied Center alongside the April Verch Band. The performance costs $18 and tickets can be purchased here.

The Science of Sound Camp was held on March 13th and 14th, 2014, at Dawes and it was sponsored by Time Warner Cable’s Connect a Million Minds program. At the Camp, students learned how to turn reused and recycled items into musical instruments.

Opening Doors in Our Community

NeighborWorks Lincoln is a non-profit organization dedicated to community revitalization through an active partnership of resident leaders, private businesses and public officials. We open doors for people to achieve their dreams of home ownership and for others who desire a safe and attractive neighborhood.

I wasn’t sure how to move forward, but then I heard about NeighborWorks. It is truly an amazing program…I hope more people use this great service to help themselves and to help Lincoln look better. Thanks, NWL!
