NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Neighborhoods Inc. dba NeighborWorks Lincoln has provided an opportunity for public input concerning an application to the Nebraska Department of Economic Development for a HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) award. This funding is available for local affordable housing activities.

NeighborWorks Lincoln is requesting $500,000 for the acquisition and/or new construction of three (3) new single-family housing units. Also, the requested amount of funds and estimated total requested from HOME will benefit households earning 80% of the Area Median Income ($64,300 for a family of four). No persons have been or will be displaced upon the completion of this project.

The total estimated cost of the 3-unit project is $1,005,000. HOME funds will provide $500,000 used toward construction costs and homebuyer subsidy and $10,000 for organizational operating costs.
