NeighborWorks Lincoln Announces Resignation of CEO Mike Renken

LINCOLN, NE – NeighborWorks Lincoln today has announced the resignation of CEO Michael Renken. The Board of Directors of NeighborWorks Lincoln accepted his resignation effective as of Oct. 29, 2019. The Board of Directors has hired Terry Uland as Interim CEO. Uland previously led NeighborWorks Lincoln for more than 15 years and more recently served as President of Downtown Lincoln Associates.

“The Board of Directors thanks Mike for his years of service to NeighborWorks Lincoln. Under his leadership, NeighborWorks Lincoln achieved ‘Exemplary Status’ from our parent organization, NeighborWorks America. Mike also supervised the Antelope Creek Village and Antelope Square developments in the Malone/Hawley neighborhoods,” said Joe Shaw, President of the NeighborWorks Lincoln Board of Directors. “We wish Mike all the best.”

“The Board of Directors and staff will work with Interim CEO Terry Uland to start the hiring process for a new CEO, and in the meantime will continue the work of creating opportunities for affordable housing, first-time homeownership, providing down payment assistance and doing the work of community building.”
