Contractor Application

NeighborWorks Lincoln (NWL) is looking for general contractors (sole proprietor) willing to work on home repairs and maintenance for our Homeownership Program. Our contractors provide bids at no cost. Approved applicants will work with clients and realtors, and are expected to perform repairs in occupied homes. Requirements to work with NWL include:

Liability Insurance of $1,000,000
At least 5 years of experience in all areas of general home repair/maintenance, which includes but is not limited to: flooring, walls, foundation, windows, roofs/gutters, masonry, flat work, plumbing, electrical, steel I-beams, carpentry, painting. Otherwise, you must have experience working with sub-contractors to perform the work at a reasonable cost.
Lead Based Paint Certified or willingness to obtain certification
Licensed with the Nebraska Department of Labor
