Community Leadership

NeighborWorks Lincoln sponsors a group of neighborhood residents and community representatives once a year to attend the NeighborWorks America Community Leadership Institute (CLI).

The training event aims to strengthen the voices and skills of community, resident and volunteer leaders. Participants attend in teams from areas served by NeighborWorks Network organizations. Neighborhood people come from all over the United States and have the opportunity to learn not only from the trainers, but also from other residents. There is a wealth of experience at these trainings.

Neighborhoods and groups that have participated in the CLI include Clinton, Malone/Hawley, University Place, Woods Park, Everett and Near South, Dawes Middle School CLC, Lincoln Policy Network and a Neighborhood & Environmental Sustainability Group. Find project details here.
