Clinton Neighborhood Study

NeighborWorks has worked extensively in the Clinton neighborhood. In addition to constructing new homes and providing rehab assistance to more than a dozen new homeowners, NeighborWorks has kept residents informed about Lincoln’s home improvement loan program, and connected residents with public leaders to resolve problems. NeighborWorks has also promoted local businesses along North 27th Street, assisted in community clean-ups and helped developed neighborhood leadership through the Community Engagement Initiative Program.

To understand impact of focused efforts in Clinton, NeighborWorks has completed a series of Community Impact Measurement (CIM) projects. Coordinated In the summer of 2017, 215 Clinton residents responded to a door-to-door resident satisfaction survey conducted by NeighborWorks Lincoln. The survey was part of the second round of extensive neighborhood studies in Clinton performed by NeighborWorks. The the first round of surveys were completed in 2013, to use as a baseline for comparing results over time. Both projects also included systematic observations of the physical conditions of blocks and selected buildings in the neighborhood.

Opening Doors in Our Community

NeighborWorks Lincoln is a non-profit organization dedicated to community revitalization through an active partnership of resident leaders, private businesses and public officials. We open doors for people to achieve their dreams of home ownership and for others who desire a safe and attractive neighborhood.

I wasn’t sure how to move forward, but then I heard about NeighborWorks. It is truly an amazing program…I hope more people use this great service to help themselves and to help Lincoln look better. Thanks, NWL!
