By 1993, the organization began to flourish and focused its work on a few targeted inner city neighborhoods. In 1994, the organization became a chartered member of the Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation network, gaining access to financial resources, tools, training opportunities, and the experience of hundreds of colleagues around the country. In 1996, the organization moved to 2121 N. 27th and was renamed Neighborhoods, Inc. Throughout its years of service, the organization has been a leader in community development.
In 2005, the Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation began doing business as NeighborWorks America.
