Antelope Valley Project
NeighborWorks® Lincoln has been designated as the "neighborhood champion" for the Antelope Valley Project -a large-scale flood mitigation, road construction, and neighborhood revitalization project situated east of downtown and adjacent to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. This major urban project will have a tremendous impact on the health and vitality of five of Lincoln's oldest neighborhoods.NeighborWorks® Lincoln is helping to articulate resident needs and advocating neighborhood-friendly designs and construction of the new roadway, waterway, park, and commercial development.
NeighborWorks® Lincoln is also working directly with private developers to design, finance and build creative new affordable and mixed-income housing in the Antelope Valley Project area.
