Homebuyer Education

This program is offered free to prospective first-time homebuyers, giving them information about the homebuying process and creating better-informed consumers and more responsible homeowners.

Take the Homebuyer Test to see if you meet our program requirements.



If you are interested in taking these classes, complete a Homebuyer Education Application. After your application has been received, you will be notified of the next available class and how to reserve a seat. Classes are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Homebuyer Education is open to the public, and classes are held in the lower level meeting room of the NeighborWorks®Lincoln office at 2121 North 27th Street from 7:00 - 10:00 pm, two nights a week for two weeks. Day of the week alternates monthly and will be announced on a class by class basis. Registration is required.
