Homeownership

Homeownership is essential in establishing and sustaining livable and safe neighborhoods.

NeighborWorks® Lincoln works with families and individuals to help them realize their dream of homeownership. Our "full-cycle" lending program includes classes in financial fitness to enable individuals to achieve financial stability in preparation for homebuyer education. Mortgage counseling and assistance is provided for income-eligible homebuyer education graduates who can secure 0% interest second mortgages to help with closing costs, down payment assistance and repairs.

Each year, our homebuyers invest more than $9 million into first home purchases in Lincoln's neighborhoods.
