Last year, 60 homes were rehabed or repaired, helping to improve and maintain older homes, and saving the new homeowners time and money on repairs. An additional 30 homes were inspected for First Time Homebuyers.
The visible rehab projects act as a catalyst to encourage neighboring residents to improve their own properties.

Description
- NeighborWorks® Lincoln staff inspect the prospective home for all necessary repairs, both interior and exterior to meet Housing Quality Standards.
- Goal: the homebuyer will move into a house that will require no major repairs for 5 years.
- Up to $20,000 worth of repairs can be made to eligible houses in specific areas.
- NeighborWorks® Lincoln facilitates the identification and selection of qualified contractors to provide needed repairs.
