Troubled Properties
Through a cooperative effort with the City of Lincoln, NeighborWorks®Lincoln rehabilitates or replaces dilapidated homes in Lincoln's older neighborhoods.The properties, which are selectively chosen for their strategic value in the neighborhood, have a positive effect on the neighborhoods once rehab is completed.
The Troubled Property Program began in 1997. Since then, approximately 60 properties have been turned into single-family homes for first time homebuyers.
